Tis nothing like the dawn of the day, with pale light washing over glen and vale. Yet what is there to show for it? Within moments, it is over, sitting back to allow the golden sunlight penetrate the dreamlike mists, and melt away the frost in way of little diamonds in the form of dewdrops upon the emerald green grasses. And few ever witnessed this turn of time, most preferring to stay cozy within their dream filled slumber. Yet here stood a leaden femme, with ink like eyes turned up to the lavender horizon. This was her time, when she thrived, felt more secure in this crazy world we call home. Her sleek form threw demented shadows across the turf, marring the perfect monochromatic tones of the grass. Her dished head was held high, sending the soft laverder horn which adorned it into the mist, it's faint glow penetrating. Her nares flared, allowing the cool, calming scent of the morning flood over her. But yet, all was not right. She stood alone in this world, without companions to share neither laughter nor sorrow. If only a single equus could take it upon themselves to greet her, otherwise, she would have to introduce herself. It was not that she minded the initial pleasantries; in fact, when coming in contact with a new soul, she would be the first to greet. After all, her dubbance, Ceallach, meaning 'warrior maiden', was not given to her for nothing. For that was her true nature; willful, and always prepared to take a situation by it's mane and wrestle it to submission. But if you take the time and effort to peer further down, you find a kind hearted fae, one who feels not shame in herself nor her acquaintances.

Sorrowind liked dawn a lot- it was a time of magic. He wanted to make a big herd, with lots of people, in the faerie dales. He wanted to feel like he wasn't alone anymore. His dark blue coat had a thick saphire sheen in the early light of the sun. He was a stallion whose sorrows were carried on the wind, everpresent but often faint. Today, he was feeling positive- uplifting. He had gotten a land, after all. Now he just had to find people to fill it up. His horn was something like the color of the day-time sky, but against the pale lit lavender of dawn, it seemed startling and bright, like the white of his wavy mane against his dark body. He followed the sound of the brook and the smell of a mare to find the warrior mare.

"Hail."

He nodded his head as a greeting, and flashed her a sort of vague smile, like he was trying to remember if he had seen her before.
